Herman: I asked her to marry me at the highest point of Mammoth while on a snowboarding trip. I took her there for our 8 year anniversary back in March. It's funny because before we left, she had complained that we had gone to the snow a couple times already for previous anniversaries, but I wanted to do it this way since snowboarding is something we have shared ever since we started dating. She had no complaints after I popped the question. :)
Jennie: Yes, I did complain on the whole way up the Gondola. :P H kept recording me on the go pro for no apparent reason and the winds were so strong that it was blowing ice painfully into our faces. He asked me to take a picture of the view and when I turned around, there he was proposing. I freaked out. I didn't even hear him pop the question because of the wind, but he yelled, "Just say YES!!!" :) :) :) We were so happy that we hugged for 10 minutes straight before we started riding down the mountain again. This picture is the one we took right after we hugged.
